Thanks, he's been through the mill but he's a tough little cookie  I agree that the blood test is a good idea. Riley is young (I assume?) so it's very unlikely to be anything bad, but definitely worth a check to stop the worry |

Alfie was drinking water like it was going out of fashion, he would pee rivers (wanting to go out in the night too) and his breath stank! Thankfully all three have resolved with medication and a change of diet. I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry too much if Riley is otherwise ok in himself. Would you perhaps be able to get the bloods done sooner to put your mind at rest quicker? |

To be honest Barley Riley is not too bad in himself, he did actually eat his tea last night, I think it is like you said it is piece of mind for me ,otherwise I would get the bloods done much sooner . The vet didn't even suggest bloods prior to his op I just thought whilst they have him they may as well do bloods at the same time instead of having to put him through it all again as he gets really anxious.
I don't think my hubby thinks he needs to have bloods done but like we said it is piece of mind for myself . 😊

Back to the vets tonight with Riley,he now has colitis to add to his problems. Probably brought on by constantly licking whilst out walking , he has been a nightmare this weekend licking maybe a bitch on Heat 😊
He has been really off this weekend I dont think we had even 1 hours sleep last night he was just so restless ☹️
This afternoon he had runny poop with blood so we took him to the vets this evening and they gave him a injection to calm down all the inflammation around his bowel.
So hoping for a little more sleep tonight on a brighter note his cooling mat as arrived , not sure what he will think to that.

Hows Riley this morning chantel ? Hopefully you both got a better nights rest last night x Well we all had a good night's sleep last night 😊I don't feel like a zombie today . He was starving this morning so I just gave him 1 slice of white toast and he seemed to kee that down ok he does look much better in himself but his poo is just like water but no blood today 😊 |

Riley looks better in himself today😊Although he still has very watery poo but no blood today so the injection looks it might have helped with the inflammation around his bowel.
We starved him last night as advised by the vet but he is starving hungry which is not like him at all 😊So I think i might just give him a bit of chicken tonight for his tea .
I might not have helped the situation much - I popped him back on his inflammatory medicine due to noticing slight blood again on the end of his fur around his tail at the wk/end, but he has been humping Freddy again so whether that has inflamed his prostate again maybe ? I just went into panic mode again. so we stopped that yesterday. The vet did say that the blood would probably not go until his op in 2 weeks time.
He is certainly putting me and his dad through some worry at the moment ☹️

I sure will be glad when he has had his op only 2 weeks away ! I'm really hoping that it will sort his prostate problems out . Although I will be probably in a state on the day worring about him ☹️But he needs to get it done 😊 |
