Well Riley is back to the vets tomorrow for a check up regarding blood in his urine. Hoping everything will be ok . We have to take in another urine sample tomorrow. Although I have not noticed any wet patches since.
For those of you who don't know Riley has been leaking small amounts of urine with traces of blood.
Has anybody experienced wet patches before with a male.
I am going to ask the vet tomorrow about getting Riley castrated he is constantly herding and humping little Freddy. we would also like him done as the vet did mention that larger breeds of dogs can get prostate problems when they get older. ☹️

Good luck at the vets tomorrow. Alfie also has blood in his urine and has been put on Cystaid capsules. Only two weeks in so not sure if they're helping yet!

Sorry to hear about Riley. 2 dogs I knew leaked urine. A German shepherd and he was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma. The second one was mine and he was diagnosed with diabetes insipidus.
Hope the vet can make an accurate diagnosis so appropriate treatment can be started. Good luck.

Sorry! Freddy although not so little now is Riley's fur buddy (rescue cat) we got him at 8 weeks old , he is now 2 years and very very naughty 😊 |

Well returned to the vets tonight with Riley, we managed to get a sample to take. The sample looked so much clearer but the vet said that there was still a small trace of blood but she felt happy that it did look like it was responding to the antibiotics although she said she wanted to give him another week of antibiotics to get on top of it.she thinks that it is a prostate infection and wants to see him again next week .
We also mentioned about getting Riley castrated and she thought it would be a good idea once Riley had got over this.
