How did things go today chantel, is Riley ok? Yes he is ok thanx cazypops he has been prescribed another week of antibiotics, only a small trace of blood now and he goes back next week. X |

Hi everyone just a little update on Riley. Since my last post Riley has been prescribed Meloxicam inflammatory medication to help with any inflammation that may have been making him feel a little uncomfortable as he was not quite himself at all. I also managed to get another urine sample from him and hubby dropped it off at the vets.and they were going to send it off to the lab and we have appointment to go back Tuesday evening . Since Riley has been on the inflammatory medication he seems to have picked up in himself more so than when he was just taking the antibiotics. |

well back from the vets with Riley 😀
The initial report from the urine sample that was sent off was not showing anything other than the blood , but still not back from been cultured due to bank holiday / vet will ring me with the result but she said she doesn't think it will show anything.
The good news is that i took a sample with us today and it didn't show any blood at all 😀 so i was really pleased.
The vet seems to think that he has had a inflamed prostate and the inflammatory medication as helped. She was very happy with Riley and we discussed about getting Riley castrated which the vet thought would be a good idea to prevent problems like this happening.plus we had been thinking about it anyway due to him getting over excited and constantly humping Freddy 😢
So we are looking at getting him castrated at the beginning of june .

Thanxx yes a sigh of relief,I've been so worried about him not slept for weeks.
That's the only downfall having pets when they are not well .
