Pancreatitis

Vet was happy with him and said he's had a good day He's been on the IV drip again and had more vetergesic & zantac and vet said he's actually been very comfortable, he doesn't seem to react at all when he feels his abdomen quite deeply.

He's eaten at the vets today and kept it all down. He hasn't been sick in two days now but the other end is very much a problem. Without TMI, he is very leaky and has little control over it!! He has Pro Kolin, Royal Canin hydro sachets for his water and omeprazole capsules so we'll see how he goes. Tiny bits of food little & often and plenty of water.

He's a bit unsteady on his legs which a bit concerning but vet said not to worry, it'll be the meds and because he is getting so little nutrition at the moment. We just really need to hope the food stays in as he desperately needs weight on... he had nothing to spare before hand and has lost 0.8kg now, which is a lot considering he only weight 6.4kg in the first place!! He wants to eat and would eat much more than I'm giving him right now, so hopefully once he's stable it'll go back on.

Vet doesn't think he needs the drip tomorrow and has taken him off the tramadol, so will see how he goes tomorrow Postponed his appointment at the AHT as I think the last thing he needs right now is a sedation and an injection into his eye!!
