I quite like the Cats Protection in my area, but totally biased because it has nothing to do with my experience with them, just that one of the very active volunteers is an old friend of my mum. Still, I remain suspicious of cat rescue places that one around my bit will find and rehome Bramble despite my repeatedly contacting them about her. The Cats Protection was the only one who took her picture though, the others wouldn't. I still regularly go check the SSPCA rehoming site just in case.

smilesbetter Bramble is due to be re-appealed tomorrow funnily enough You should try posting her photo on their facebook pages, that way they do have a photo I can forward the photo along to Sue at Whinnybank as its a rescue I have recently been networking with more recently. spider the wee girl we have in care was also pregnant and had had a litter 10 weeks previous to us bringing her in. She was in the same area too so there must be an un-neutered tom around there.

tonib yes both kittens were found alive and well It was believed that one of the kittens had been swept away by the river as it hadnt been seen but it appears the mum cat had the kittens in 2 separate places. We think she may have been in the process of moving them and then was disturbed so hadnt moved the other. All are said to be doing well

pixiepops haha great, thanks. I live in hope. Is Whinnybank the one in Newburgh? That's where I got my first ever cat from, Jake, a legendary feral cat. Never met another like him. I can't do the facebook ones as I no longer have facebook. I had forwarded the pic to their pages before though but I don't know if they ever even see them. Shame about the third kitten

Update - mum and babies Have been told they are doing well, eating well and that the kitties are a bit of a handful lol mum cat hadnt been spayed yet but will be done in about 2 weeks time. Tia-Rose is doing amazingly well. Shes a shy littler girl but super friendly once she knows who you are We have 2 home visits lined up for potential new homes. We hope to get them in first to see her in her own surrounding, see how she interacts with them and them with her. Then we will visit their homes and see how we feel about their environment and see where she will be living. Will be sad to see her go but she will be going off to start the first day of the rest of her life in a forever home
