Thought I would show everyone the new wee girl I have in foster care. Shes a beautiful wee girl but looks like shes been through the wars. She has bites and scars and scabs all over her wee underside, she was given a long lasting antibiotic jag this morning at the vets, has had flea and worm treatments also and has a cream for putting on her wounds. It looks as though this wee one was being used for breeding as she looks no older than maybe 3 years old and from what we can tell shes already had 3+ litters She is in a bit of a mess, very very timid. Poor wee soul was found 10 weeks ago by a lady who found her in her kitchen giving birth to kittens! The woman managed to find homes for the kittens after they had been weaned, etc from mum cat but needed a rescue place for this wee one so my organisation have taken her in. She said she had seen her around the area since June/July time of last year but hadnt thought anything of it till now when she saw the cat up close. We cant have her spayed as yet as her underside is in a bit of a mess and the vet doesnt want to do anything until its cleared. Her teets are also swollen and at first it was thought she had mastitis, but it appears it could be a small infection. So antibiotics and the cream for now to see how she goes. We have named her Tia-Rose. Tia because of the small white diamond on her head it looks like she has a small tiara and Rose because she is beautiful, precious and delicate like a Rose.

Awww welcome to our world Tia Rosie (((HUGS))) You're safe now baby girl My FeLV+ girl Suzi was used as a breeding queen too (which is how she probably contracted FeLV) until PARRT rescued her She was pretty shy at first but soon settled with us and became a huge personality Give it a few days and once TiaRosie realises you mean her no harm she'll soon relax and, I'm sure, become a really lovely wee girl

Aww, bless her. At last some good luck for Tia-Rose and I am sure as soon as she is fit and well a forever home will be found for her. She looks so sad, but very pretty.

scallywag lol that is a coincidence Thank you Im sure once we get her sorted and her wee belly has cleared she will be fine. Have had some interest already from some potential new homes so will be making sure to have them vetted nearer to her re-homing. tonib She really is gorgeous. Such a gentle wee soul @gillykat That type of thing really infuriates me. Some people just have no regard for just how precious an animal is or how precious their lives are. spider Its hard, trust me lol I would be keeping all of the cats if I could. This is the fourth cat we have taken in so far. The first 2 was a mum cat and her 5 week old kitten that were found. We got the both of them flea and worm treated, fully vaccinated, spayed and chipped and sent them off to their new homes with a care pack. The 3rd was a beautiful long haired white male cat. Poor boy was matted so we got him all sorted, he was neutered, chipped and vaccinated and then re-homed with a wonderful lady who still sends us updates about him. He clicked with her resident cat so well from day one the 2 of them were like best buddies. Its great to see how well they are doing in their new homes, so technically in a way they never leave as some of the owners have no problem sending updates lotsofcats Yeah the wee soul isnt happy with where she is just now, but im thinking its more to do with the discomfort she will be in at the moment. Lots of TLC and she will be right as rain

lotsofcats Shes doing fab Her underside has cleared up dramatically since being given the antibiotic jags and cream, so fingers crossed we can get her booked in to be spayed and chipped over the next couple of weeks. She has also come out of her shell and has been giving head bumps and strangely likes to lick your nose! lol

Poor little love, I'm glad to see she's well on the road to recovery. She was very lucky she chose the house that she did to have her kittens.

Got a couple of photos of her. As you can see in the second photo that is one of the wounds she has, her underside has wounds like that all over it but the ones on her underside look worse than the one on her back (although better than when we took her in). She wont let us take a photo of her belly so thats a no go for now.
