Hi fellow members, A family member recently made me a wonderful surprise: he gave me a paint by numbers personalized with my favorite picture of James! It's not my first paint by numbers but I didn't know it was possible to turn a photo into a custom one! Just started yesterday and I thought you might want to see it so I'll share the progress with you. I added the picture used so that you can compare and imagine the final result. There are a few wrinkles on the canvas, I'll lightly iron it to remove them. But they seem much worse in the picture than in reality! Have you ever done such thing? Cheers, Louisa

You're a braver person or at least a better artist than me louisad to attempt this looking at the small variations in colour on the canvass. I have heard of of photos being turned into cross stitch patterns so I suppose this is the same idea. Good luck with the painting.

scallywag I first want to finish the background before doing the dog, sorry But it's almost done! And no, I didn't chose the colors. The company I ordered the painting from turned my picture into a paint by numbers and choose the colors for me! So here it is:

I don't know exactly as I didn't pay it but I think it was around 35€, shipping included.
