Tried and tried to upload my pic but wouldn't show it . I emailed them and got a reply within 10 mins , said I could email to them directly and they would load it onto my order. Lets see what happens next

12 days since it was shipped and I still haven't had it, last time I looked it was in China  Thought I was dealing with Belgium  Will give it 5 more days then Im gonna claim on my credit card , against them in case I been caught out  |

Sorry to hear you're having problems with getting your painting scallywag . Have you tried emailing them with a query about the delivery? Hopefully you'll get as quick a response as you did when you had a problem uploading the pic. I've just looked at your history on this thread & see you actually got it ordered 20 days ago & said you've got to wait several weeks. Looking at the site they say 1-2 weeks to make the custom canvass & 2-3 weeks for delivery, so anywhere between 2 & 5 weeks. The company is in the US, it was louise who received it in Belgium - I can see her review on the companies website & apparently it took 3 weeks to arrive there in Belgium. As to China the website says :- so it may be that their factory is in China. Also it may be held up coming through UK customs &/or delivery company, as according to the company's website they don't pre-pay any international taxes so if the value is over £15 (including shipping & duty - although I doubt that duty will be applicable) then there is VAT to pay which is collected by the delivery company, who should contact you about that. www.gov.uk/goods-sent-from-abroad/tax-and-duty I've bought stuff from the US & been caught by that so thought I'd pass on the info just in case you haven't. Oh & if it's Royal Mail they also charge for the privilege of collecting the VAT (&duty if applicable!) I landed up paying more to Royal Mail than the item cost!! Apologies scallywag I just assumed as they say their warehouse (for non customised pictures) is in California that they were a US company. Having found their about us & contact pages I can see they are based in Brussels! As to the VAT that's an intriguing one. You bought from a company based in the EU but its being shipped from China. I'm no expert on the legal situation of that! There is a bit of info on local taxes etc. on their website in their shipping FAQ. |
