Glad it's arrived at last. Can't wait until we see your progress. Think I need to invest in a magnifying glass first can see this is going to be a huge challenge LOL SERIOUSLY you can't read some of the numbers

scallywag, you're braver, & more patient, than me in attempting this, but it will be worth it. Even years ago, when I had better (younger) eyesight than now, I needed a lit magnifier to follow cross-stitch patterns never mind read some of the small numbers that will be on the picture now!

I painted a few more hours over the weekend, here is the current result! Few more hours ? Im lucky to go a whole hour , im sitting there painting ( with my magnifying glass to read the numbers ) thinking I SHOUKD HAVE ORDERED THE LARGEST SIZE PAINTING then maybe the numbers woukd also be bigger I never did Left to Right . I am dotting all over the place , I say dotting cause some bits literally a dot , smaller than a pimple i open a colour and look fir all those numbers in the area I chose to work ok. I will take a photo of thus so far which is possibly a total of 3 hrs work in dribs and drabs. Im also of the thinking that louisad was on a sales ploy/ mission and maybe on several forums advertising this ? No way was that picture painted that quick its been done over time im guessing shhhhhh xxxx EDIT I not tackled the large areas first thought I would do them last

I wonder how many hours it will take to finish? You'll have to make a note of how long you work on it each time.

Lovely to see his eyes painted in. I had to do the eyes cause I was getting worried, that whole area is mostly a very dark blackish co. As it is I had to enhance the whites as they used a beige

update to follow Pain staking 13 hours - here ya go as at tonight on FlickrDone a lot more , slightly disappointed , Beau as you know is Liver and White , all the white bits have been painted in a shade of grey , I did go back to them and query It , they said it looked white to them , If I decide to carry on , I may try and do a few touch ups to how It should look. Guess their machines have to pick a paint they think Matches , but the dog on here has a lovely white coat I have added my own white flashings between the eyes , made his eyes whiter already trued ironing the creases out too , but cant budge them, the canvas is like a plastic Feel so daren't go hotter , temperature wise

Definitely more patient than me scallywag! Shame the colour isn't really Beau's I have a feeling, looking at the photo on your post, it's the white against the flags that may have caused the colour blip by the computer.
