This is a problem for you chantel, with Elsa getting anxiety problems from Riley. Glad you have sedatives ready if people have fireworks for the Jubilee, I hadn't given fireworks a thought but people are sure to let them off - any excuse. Do you have the dog equivalent of the cat Feliway plug in? |

I’v bought several plug ins (adaptil)in the past for Riley and don’t think they have helped that much really but Riley’s anxieties are on a much higher level to Elsa -I did think about getting one to see if it helped Elsa though.
I,m really hoping we don’t hear many fireworks😕

Our, much missed, old dog hated loud noise and we tried all-sorts of things to help her including Adaptil plug ins and collars none of which seemed to have any effect. We also used a calming spray which was supposed to be put on the dog' s bed but she was never still for long enough to get any benefit. What we did was to put some of the spray on a bandana and fixed it to her collar so she had it close to her all the time. We THINK it helped her as she seemed vaguely more settled but never really coped with fireworks etc until she went deaf in her old age 🙄.

Got a bit of a stressful morning-Riley and Elsa are at the vets for their health check.
Elsa gets herself really stressed out 🙈I normally I have to stand outside with her until we are called through because she barks continuously.
Riley is so good bless him he just thinks it is a day out and everyone makes a big fuss of him 😀
