What a rude receptionist chantel ! As far as I know, papilloma warts look a bit like cauliflower in appearance. Ellie had one on her gum a few years ago. I gave her the homeopathic remedy Thuja which seemed to get rid of it (but who knows for sure if it was that or if it just went on it's own). Could be worth a try for you? Beau has a big wart on side of his nose could that work on his wart Emma? He keeps making it bleed , vet told us to put sudacrem on it as we didn’t want to risk surgery Oh bless him, I've just seen the picture. Poor Beau, how long has he had that? It could be worth a try for sure. I got mine from Dorwest Herbs and I've seen it recommended on the dog nutrition Facebook page I follow. ETA: The Dorwest product is those tiny little pillules that you're meant to tip directly into the dog's mouth without touching. Having googled, you can also get a Thuja cream from VioVet which might work just as well.

Well no change to the lump at the side of Elsa’s pad although because I’m constantly checking it daily sometimes I think it is slightly bigger but hubby has checked it and says no change. She is due for her boosters next month so when I event get her booked in I will get the vet to check it for me.

Leucillin is safe for use on open wounds scallywag but not sure it would clear it up. It would certainly keep it clean, if that's a worry.

scallywag have you thought of trying Manuka Honey? I've never tried it, but I believe it can help heal open wounds.

cazypops its not open its a wart and Beau scratches the head off , little sod. As fir manuka honey YES I can definitely vouch for it . Trinket my first dog had a cyst ( prob size of Beaus wart ) it burst leaving a crater in her back, we were told to put honey on it , and yes it healed marvellously

That or is say Compound W to strong to use on dogs?

Elsa is becoming very anxious bless her - she is picking up on Riley’s vibes 🥲 Saturday night our Nextdoor neighbour had a fire late at night and Riley could hear the fire popping away- Elsa never flinched until she saw Riley becoming very anxious - we went to bed and Riley was fine but Elsa didn’t sleep she was very anxious licking and panting for most of the night and Sunday night too. She was a little bit better last night although after tea she paces around the settee doing laps 🥲 I’v ordered her some calming tablets to see if they will help with her anxiety 🐶
It’s very difficult having a dog like Riley at times with all his anxiety issues some days are a struggle even walking Riley can be a challenge if he hears anything in the background whether it’s road works in the distance to someone banging shut a wheelie bin lid he refuses to walk. I’m really hoping we don’t hear any fireworks for the jubilee but I have sedatives to hand 😕it all about trying to keep Riley calm so Elsa does not pick up on his vibes .
