What a cutie! How'd you decide on the name? I used to have a long haired Syrian hamster called Joey, but he got his name in reference to my female Syrian, Phoebe haha. Phoebe turned out to be more of a Monica but Joey was a bit of a dummy so I think I named him right.

I am a total Friends nut! And Joey just seemed to suit a hamster better than Chandler or Ross!

I can waste absolutely ages on YouTube watching Friends clips, especially the blooper ones!

Joey seems to be settling in well. He was on his wheel last night and is eating, although he's yet to wake up this evening. He just seems so teeny tiny, Rupert my Syrian seems like an absolute monster in comparison!

Will get more pics when he's settled in a bit more!

My two when I was a kid were Pingu and Sammy (as in Sammy the Seal). Well, Sammy was my brothers. Our feral cat Jake used to sit above their cage looking murderous, just waiting for his chance (which he never got, don't worry).
