Xenia is getting her tabby point markings nicely, she is growing fast. Taylor is sailing through her pregnancy, pinking up well and gaining weight nicely too. Wispa is still very much an attention seeker, she cries constantly until me and Kevin and all the other cats are in the lounge, when we are all together she will settle down but if there is just one out of the room she just wont settle and will be running all over the house crying loudly. Really hope it doesn't go on like this forever, it seems to be since Mia passed away, she really missed her and she even cries all through the night to be with us now too. Just a few pics of the little monkeys... They seem to be all arms and legs on this one...

Great pictures of the 3 of them.
Is Wispa still with the kittens in your dressing room at night rather than with the other cats? If so I wonder if that's what's making her cry? She was close to Mia so she will be missing her & as it was while she off with her kittens she won't have been aware, in the same way as the others, of how ill Mia was. I sometimes think the cats know better than us when the time has come & Wispa probably didn't get that & still wonders what happened to Mia and may well think who's next & hence her distress at someone missing. Ok a very humanisation of what's happening but you never know.

Hi Elaine, No Wispa hasn't started calling again, I don't know how we will cope when she does lol, she is noisier now than when she did call. She is still wanting to comfort feed her kittens at the moment, she tells us when she wants to go to them and we then have to stay with her otherwise she comes straight back down again. She's a little monkey at the moment. Xenia has grown a lot, she eats well though. Great pictures of the 3 of them. Ok a very humanisation of what's happening but you never know. Hi Toni, No Wispa just wasn't letting the kittens sleep as she was crying and jumping up to the door handle all through the night so we have recently separated them over night, we were worried that she might jump up at the door and then land on them and hurt them. She is with the others now but still cries all night. Maybe you are right in the way she may be thinking as she was very close to Mia. She is happy at the moment because we are all in the same room but as soon as one of us goes to the toilet or go to make a drink etc she will jump up and start all over again.

Love your photos Sharon. These ones are so beautiful. Poor Wispa though. I remember how Molly missed Max but she only looked for him where her used to sleep on our bed (usually under the duvet lol) when he wanted some time on his own. I suppose she thought when he wasn't anywhere else he would be there. Wispa just needs time.

Thankyou Andrena, Wispa is so different since we lost Mia, she has started to hiss at Xenia and Taylor too and is being a little bully to Xenia lashing out at her for no reason then the next minute she wants to sit with her. When Mia was here she would cuddle up to them all and they would all sleep together.

Xena's markings are coming in very nicely, she is stunning as are Wispa and Taylor! I am sorry for your loss of Mia, I never knew she passed away! Sorry to hear it, she will be with you forever! As the quote goes 'Even those who are gone are with us as we go on' . I hope Wispa is okay soon, it sounds like separation anxiety by the sounds of things! Hope everything goes well. Lovely photos, Taylor and Xena seem to close friends!

Brilliant pictures! Poor Wispa. I suppose she still has hormones whizzing around her body, so missing Mia is making her very clingy. Hopefully she will settle soon. I guess it takes time for both cats and humans to grieve. x x
