Ha good Einstein quote! I reckon the frozen raw veggie cubes are a winner, somewhere to put garlic n stuff in One thing I'll never understand is why some people don't want to do raw and want to start actually cooking whole meals for dogs. Sounds like such a chore, I mean why bother cooking it just makes work that's unnecessary. Each to the own but you can probably see where I'm coming from.

Amber loved Turkey Backs, so will be getting them again! Took her about 10 minutes, so she got a good chew, chicken legs only last 2 minutes with her!! Also had her first meal of Natural Instinct which went down well I think I am going to end up swaying more towards the DIY raw though, once I get into the hang of things! She doesn't get any real "chewing" out of the pre-prepared meals, plus they work out more expensive for Amber. I enjoy doing it the DIY way I agree with you julie72, whats the point in cooking it - I wouldn't be bothered to go to all that hassle!!

Amber had pork ribs for the first time this evening, she loved them! She has now been introduced to; beef, chicken, lamb, turkey & pork, no problems so far. Plus, it is true, raw fed dogs poop does go all white and chalky. Amber now when you put her bowl down, will drag everything out and see what she has, before deciding what to eat first - normally the less-chewy things first, saving the most chewy stuff till last. Like, say, the other day she had chicken wings/legs and eggs, she ate the egg first, then wings, then legs! We also went to the butcher today and he gave us some chicken carcasses and marrowbones. The freezer is fit to burst!
