I'm glad to see your hubby is doing better meandmine , now it's time to take your own advice and look after yourself. I hope you're better soon. I totally AGREE with cazypops advice . BUT you already know that I know the theory but when you are the only person in the house who is comparatively well it s very difficult ( and I m sure that most daughters, wives and mums would agree) . I am doing as little as possible and mainly just looking after the doglet and getting myself lots of warm drinks. Neither of us have had colds etc this time round but the fatigue and nausea is incredibly debilitating. Son, who lives with us, is still Covid free thank goodness but had an accident at work last week and injured his ankle making his mobility worse than it is usually. Luckily he can now move slightly better and is sorting his own meals. He spends most of the time upstairs in the hope that he doesn't catch covid as it will literally take him off his feet if he does. Thank you all for your kind wishes.

He s still in an isolation side room at the hospital. He has been taken off the drip now and actually managed to eat a bit of weetabix this morning for breakfast ( first time since Monday) . His breathing has improved as has his kidney function so things are looking better at last. The worst bit is that I can't visit him both because he has Covid and isn't allowed visitors and because I have it, I m not allowed in the building. Thank you so much for asking. How about you Chantel? I’m feeling much better thanks meandmine 🙏I’m hoping to go back to work tomorrow, but will be keeping my distance and probably wearing a mask 😷 I’m taking my inhaler with me too . my glands are still quite swollen in my throat . glad your hubby is starting to improve , that’s a great sign. and as hard as it is , it’s best you don’t visit not when he has turned a corner, hope you are not feeling too bad . people think it’s gone , but it hasn’t gone , people with underlying problems are still very vulnerable. sending hugs 🤗 xxx

For the past 2 years there we've had seagulls nesting on the roof of the unit factories opposite in work. They are back this year and we've spotted 3 baby seagulls on the roof, so possibly 2 sets of parents. The parent birds steal the bread I put out for the pair of robins we see each day.

Well work wasn’t too bad , although I was sat for most of the day. The reception manager was off last week too with the same thing . My throat is still not right , my glands are very swollen 😷 I had a nice surprise at lunch , Hubby brought Elsa down to see me and she said hello to all of the reception team and some of the patients. She was really good bless her and the staff just loved her. 🥰 Covid is definitely doing the rounds again. meandmine hope hubby is still improving and you are all feeling better 😷🙏

That was a nice surprise for everyone to see Elsa in your lunch break yesterday chantel. My M.I.L.'s care home is closed to visiting due to Covid, it's the second week. We heard this morning that she had fallen out of bed and was found on the floor. They will update later on how she is.

I m starting to feel a bit better but still struggling to eat and having to sit down and rest quite often. I know time will help but I m a very impatient patient. OH seems to be going backwards and forwards. His kidney function has improved but his chest is still bad and no one seems to be able to figure out why , the doctors are " flummoxed ". He has seen yet another different doctor today who has ordered a chest CT scan so at least they are doing SOMETHING to find the cause of the problem. 🤞

Glad you are starting to feel better meandmine just take it easy it will take time to recover Covid can cause so much damage, I was a perfectly healthy person no previous chest problems but when I had covid last time (about a year ago ) I unfortunately got a secondary infection that made me really poorly 😷 laryngitis that after months and months of telling the doctor my chest was not right and that I have a terrible cough every day they eventually did some breathing tests and sent me for an x-ray I was eventually diagnosed with asthma 6 months ago. They told me that they know that Covid can cause damage but they don’t know enough about it at the moment so can’t say what damage it actually causes. Hope your hubby gets answers after his ct scan but good news that his kidney function has improved. Sorry to hear lotsofcats that MIL has had a fall hope everything is ok,have they updated you yet ?
