Ooh strange. If you always reject all, I wonder why it would change all of a sudden. I always just accept all, so I've never had anything like that happen. I couldn't do either of them , it was just not responding, l was locked out for 4 hours 😵💫 Very rude! Glad it let you in eventually!

So the sun got me motivated and l started trying to sort out the garden. Its in a terrible state , it seems like O.H has no enthusiasm to do anything this past 2 years.
Its a reck , and got beyond me , all l can do is just cut back stuff , weed , and start again trying to make it tidy in the very least. I am onky at the stage of removing the stems from the dead daffs and tulips 🤦♀️ I been living in hope O.H might pull himself away from the TV ( but dementia is cruel to people ) and l just have to try and NOT Nag him.
Eventually came in at 5pm. Still lovely out there .
Cooked dinner , then did some more painting. Thats another story on another thread 👩🎨

We like having a garden, but hate gardening. That's why we do the bare minimum, but we get rewarded by getting more nature coming in. If you prefer to have a manicured garden, is there a local gardener you can get to come in once a month or so to do it for you?

I have a lovely back garden lots of trees 🌲 and wildlife but I know as I get older it would be hard for me to manage on my own - I would probably need to find someone to just keep the conifers and privet tidy and I could see to the grass myself. Do you have someone local that could come and help you scallywag

I will get someone eventually , but atm O.H is saying NO! I did get a random come and strim the bank out front , that was 2 feet high in places, not even O.H would have managed it, l made a dent 👍 one more bed to tackle in the front then another challenge out back , nettles 2.5 feet high behind the green house 🥺🤣🤣

I went down to theatre around 7:30 pm waiting 3 hours hubby just dropped me off so he could do the furbaby’s teas. I was discharged at 10:30 I was starving hungry 😋 The plan was to call for some chips and fish cake on the way home but I didn’t expect to be that late and the chip shop was shut🙈 So I had to make do with a fish cake sandwich 🥪 😋 I feel very groggy and lightheaded today it’s took me ages to get up and get down stairs to let the dogs out and do their breakfast 🙈although no pain yet . scallywag i agree with cazypops dementia is much harder on the carer😢it is a very cruel illness more so for the family. Sounds like you have a lot on at the moment but don’t forget to make time for yourself- I’m presuming that’s where the painting comes in . Take care sending hugs 🤗 x
