I go in hospital later this afternoon to have the steroid injection into my coccyx- my admission time is 4:15 hope I’m not waiting around for hours to go down to theatre. Sorry for the late reply . Hope the discomfort you are experiencing now will be worthwhile in the long term. |

Nutmeg still gives us scarey moments. She hadn't been too bad lately but this morning she coughed on and off all morning , was breathing quite fast and could not settle. We started to get worried ( why do these things always happen at the weekend or bank holidays?) and were debating on yet another emergency vet visit. We decided to give her some painkillers, in case she had overdone her morning walk ( she d had a wonderful time sniffing and exploring somewhere we hadn't been for ages) and watch her carefully for an hour. Nutmeg then settled down, slept on and off for a couple of hours and has been fine since. Soooooo..... she seems OK for now.
She really is on borrowed time but she is still eating well, enjoying her little walks, loves her cuddles and we are sure she is usually in no pain or distress. Whilst she remains our happy, waggy tailed little ginger ninja we' re happy to keep going with the medication and give her the best life we can.

I had to get back in touch with the doctor my chest and throat are still really bad 🙈no appointments so had to go to the out of hours Tuesday evening what a waste of time - told it’s long covid , took a throat swab and prescribed me a stronger hay fever tablet - they don’t think it’s pollen but I definitely do - I took Elsa a walk yesterday and I only made it to the bottom of my road I was coughing like crazy and coughing lots up so I’m hoping the stronger medication will help I had another terrible night again last night 🙈I’m just so fed up now 🥲

No scallywag I’m not a patient at my work place . The out of hours doc checked my chest and said it wasn’t an infection. Well i’v got the stronger hay fever tablets now so I will just have to see how I go. |
