Yep, I'm going to try to feed raw again. I was invited to a FB group (poorly named A Raw Start Explained or A.R.S.E!). I hadn't actually planned to try again, but they converted me. My only issue is having to buy online, getting over the smell (I shall be stronger this time!) and the issue of Lucy turning her nose up at it. I've got all my percentages and weights planned, that's all sorted. So, I have to buy online as I don't have a butcher local to me. I've found They Love It! website (http://www.theyloveit.co.uk/) which is one I'm definitely going to use. However that's all chicken, I'm looking for something more. I found one site which seemed great value and had loads of choice, got all through adding things to my basket to find they only delivered in Cardiff! Looking to pay no more than £1.50 per kg of meat. The chicken works out at £1.18 per kg.

I have generally been impressed by the NI stuff however that's more than you are wanting to pay per KG! Why not just get your meat from where you get it for yourself?

Well, I don't go to a butcher for it anyway. I'll maybe buy one pack of chicken breasts from the local spar a week, but it costs a fortune and they don't even have much meat in anyway.

Tried both nurturing by nature and DAF. DAF looks especially fab but seems they won't/don't deliver here. NbN are way too expensive sadly. I need to phone Dundee Pet food and see if they will deliver this far north. Hate living here sometimes

Oh that's a shame How far north are you? I haven't tried either supplier yet, but I'm planning on ordering from both at some point.

In Kinlochbervie, about 10 miles further north and we fall off Britain!

Me too! DAF will deliver there, they just charge a little bit more because their courier charge more I think! You need to contact them for the postal price though.

Well I tell you what, you guys come live here and I'll go live where you do. I'm sick of it! It's absolutely gorgeous, and the space for walks and beaches for dogs is fab, but if you want to buy anything, its so difficult. Swap, please?!

I would still swap! I like peace and quiet, dont care for shops much!! As long as I can get food I would be content!! Work however could be a little more difficult!!

Well if you can farm or fish, you're set. That's all anyone does up here!

Nah, not really. I think I could cope with the fishing (assume you mean out in a boat rather than the salmon farms). Would love to farm but would need an other half to do the heavy stuff. No qualifications in either subject though. Sorry I have taken us off thread rather badly!! Being new to it too I have only done NI order so far. Thinking of doing a nurturing nature order. I therefore cant really advise on which companies are best to try and order from. Rubyroo lives further north than some of us (well pretty much most people will be further north than me!) and so may be better to advise on companies which are based further north
