We never used any teething toys for Jasper, but we did give him raw carrots, but not frozen. We've always got bones from the butchers for him he loves them. He even has rib bones frozen. Funny never found any of Jaspers teeth. Really wanted some to keep too.

I have 5 of Coopers baby teeth, I was looking at them the other day. Can't believe how small they are. Frozen carrots were a winner here. And he still has a raw carrot a day now, not frozen though. Ooh on that note a puzzling thing, Cooper never holds the raw carrot like he does his nylabone. I have no idea why but instead of holding the carrot between his paws and either laying down or front down and bum up. He will just stand up right and eats the carrot while it lays on his mat. It looks so ackward and I think it's very weird?!?

Thats probably because I made them up! They are my own little inventions! In saying that, it's not rocket science so I'm sure plenty of people do it too and if you look hard enough you'd probably be able to find ones that come like people ice creams but for dogs - with a hefty price tag to match! Oh, lol. There is actually a dog ice cream company, they make ice creams and ice pops for them. Can't think of the name though, although I'm sure they've been advertising at Crufts before.

SarahHound Are you thinking of www.billyandmargot.com? I'd love to let my two try the iced treats from there, but I don't think there's a local stockist. They've had the venison sticks though and loved them!

We got our lot some of Billy + Margot ice cream from Crufts - they loved them!! It's a good idea for hot days to help keep them cool. However, I tend to make them myself with (normally with yogurt, banana & honey) :-)

Chantel, in my experience with Holly, she much preferred soft toys to teeth on than very hard things that seemed only to hurt her teeth. She particularly liked fleecy or ropey things. She did, however, chew a kong if it had treats inside it. I'd personally put some natural yoghurt/peanut butt on this - www.kongcompany.com/en-uk/products/for-dogs/rubber-toys/dental-rubber-toys/classic-dental-stick/ or something similar, freeze it and give it to him. He's a puppy, bribery is sometimes necessary!

Katy also liked frozen brussell sprouts, as we had her as a pup around the time they were about. I have such a cute video of Katy the first time she got a carrot, she thought it was a toy at first.
