I don't think you'll need to worry BorderTerrier. They've said that they'll have more salmon in stock on Thursday, hence the prizes being sent out then. I'm not sure you'll be able to use it as treats as it comes in one tub, so unless you defrost it, separate small amounts out and then refreeze, I'm not sure that will work! However, if someone else knows better, feel free to correct me! I imagine you'd be able to freeze it into a Kong though. I've also heard that the salmon variety is quite mushy compared to the other varieties, but obviously as I've never actually used it, I don't know how true that is. True! I'm happy that Pepper will be in the magazine

But I'm not suggesting that you walk out to your dads shed BT and walk back in with an axe for chopping up dog mince!!!

Haha bextull! I expect an axe would work, but I don't have one But BorderTerrier, if you let it partially defrost (take it out of the freezer for about an hour or an hour and a half), you should be able to chop through it with a sharp knife (or at least, one of your parents will!). I did this with some Honeys rolls so that I could put them into old NI containers to defrost properly as it's easier to portion out with a spoon, so I can't see why it wouldn't work for NI.

NO AXE!!!!!! Where on earth do you live that requires no axe!!!! (probably exaggerating a bit there....) A sharp knife rinsed with BOILED water works even better for cutting partially defrosted stuff. It's also important to remember, never run with knives! (coming from the person who cut her hand open on a plane to florida with a plastic knife!)

(coming from the person who cut her hand open on a plane to florida with a plastic knife!) Hahaha!! I have to admit, I think my parents would think I was crazy if I told them I wanted to get an axe to chop raw meat up with. My mam gave me a funny look when I mentioned getting a cleaver! You're welcome BorderTerrier! I don't know how tough the frozen salmon variety will be to be honest, so it'll probably be a bit of trial and error for you to chop it up. Also, Bextull has a good point about rinsing the knife in boiling water. That'll help even more. I just know that when I've not left a tub out of the fridge all day to defrost, I end up with a lump in the middle of it that's still frozen, so it might not be easy to cut up. And, of course, don't run with knives like Bextull said!

I know what you mean, I got the exact same look! My Mam said to me 'A cleaver, why on earth do you need a cleaver! Can't you just get a new t-shirt?'

I don't either. I'd like a chainsaw for cutting through Jumbones though!
Orpheous, the salmon is indeed very 'mushy' compared to the other ones!
