Fir instance say l want to STOP using the oven , l have a lasagne or a fish pie , both in a foil dish , can l cook these in the air fryer ? In the foil trays ? And do l chose roast? Or do l chose Air frier ? As far as I'm aware, you can use the trays in the air fryer. As for the different setting, I don't know. Mine has preset recipes...Chips, chicken, fish, cakes, dehydrate but I think the chips is a default. I can change the heat and timings manually to what I what.
I bought a cookbook for the air fryer today (Not that I realized but it was Β£7.99) anyway, reading it, I think you can even boil and egg in it.

Hubbyβs experiment π 2 slices of bread and butter both sides. Add cheese, onion onto 1 slice of bread and place the 2nd slice of bread on top. Cook at temp 200 * and cook for 5 mins Turn over the sandwich and cook for a further 5 mins Note this was brown bread .

It sure was yummy scallywag π may need to tweak cooking time with white bread a bit - itβs just trial and error at the moment.

chantel, they look good. I think I know what we will be having one weekend soon for lunch. I think I'd drop either the temp down to 180* or the time down to 4 mins. What cheese to you use? I buy Aldi's white mature cheddar, and sometimes it doesn't seam to melt very well.
