I was on my way to work this morning and spotted a man walking with his dog, a lovely Golden Retriever. The dog was carrying the man's umbrella in his mouth and he looked so pleased with himself. After I dropped my daughter off I spotted the dog again, sat waiting outside the market entrance while his owner bought his newspaper and still with the umbrella in his mouth. It was one of those big golfing umbrellas.

It was nice while it lasted! All back to normal as of last night. Started off stressful when she couldn’t walk down the path to get inside!! Poor Rumple must really think I hate him, I’m getting so cross with him again already, and he hasn’t really done anything. He was good as gold all last week, where I actually had time to spend with him and didn’t get so stressed with him. Millie still not very well either.

I think you need to try and spend more time with Rumple to keep him better behaved and to keep you less stressed - easier said than done, though! I hope Millie starts to improve soon.

Took Jasper for his 6 monthly injection and check up. The vet is really please with how he is, and how strong his leg is. One very happy mummy.

Worth the expense then , excellent news x scallywag it only costs us £15 every 6 month, so can't grumble at that. We also have Loxicom for when Jasper over does it, and the vets says that he's now at the age when arthritis can start to set in, so if we see that he needs something then the Loxicom with get rid of any fluid build up, and to also give him 1/4 of paracetamol twice a day for a couple of day. At the moment it's very rare that he needs anything as the Cartrophen plus a daily dose of yumove is working just fine.

Hello! thought i'd pop up since missing members were mentioned . I'm OK, all settled into new house now and am enjoying living away from parents but i do miss samson and mario. I still see them though on my days off. Me and my friend/housemate are thinking of getting a cat soon, most likely a rescue. We would like a dog too but sadly it wouldn't be manageable as we are both out the house a lot at work and uni and wouldn't be able to afford a dog walker/sitter/daycare on top of existing bills. I'm in my final year of uni now, which is proving to be somewhat stressful. I'll upload a recent pic of Samson and get one of mario when i next see him Hope everyone else is doing OK

It's been murder orpheous87 . Flirts is just laid on the top of the stairs not batting an eyelid, but poor Jasp stresses. He can't settle, and keeps jumping up when he hears a bang, its such a same for him, and we feel so helpless to help him, we have the tv turned up as loud as we can without disturbing next door too much, and all the curtains and doors shut, but they are that loud it didn't work much. Tonight is the forth night of it too.

Oh no, sorry to hear that cazypops! Poor Jasper We're incredibly lucky that none of our 3 have been bothered at all. Cody would be, I think, if Pepper & Ellie were. But because they don't react, he doesn't react. They've been getting treats every time a bang has gone off which seems to help as well. When the bangs sound, they all look at me for a treat instead of barking. Tiny treats work wonders apparently! We've had four nights of it as well, but ironically, tonight has been the best night of all of them!

That's a good idea, the treats. Will have to try and remember that for next time orpheous87, thanks.
