what a great photo chantel, Elsa looks really happy & relaxed, Riley a bit more cautious but what an improvement!  When you picked up Elsa from the breeder were there still litter mates there? It will have been quite a shock to her system to be without them especially if that was the case as it will also have been a new environment & smells. |

It will have been quite a shock to her system to be without them especially if that was the case as it will also have been a new environment & smells. yes the Breeder said she was still sleeping with her brothers and sisters so it probably was a big shock for her. When we collected Riley the breeder gave us a toy with his mum’s sent but this time around she didn’t give us any thing like that , I could have asked but I never thought about it until last night I was that anxious about not being able to collect her due to the snow ☹️ |

Going in the right direction slowly but surely. It’s not a great picture because I was sat in the chair behind them and it was difficult to get a pic  😊but this is the first time Riley has really got this close to Elsa 😊 What a lovely photo, nice to see that Riley is starting to accept Elsa. |

Awwww! just look at those ikle pink pads.  Glad that things are looking up for you chantel. Did Riley sleep on your bed again, or did he let Elsa snuggle up with him.  |

Riley slept on his own bed last night down the side of hubby because Elsa just settled straight down on her bed down the side of me ,she woke about 5:15 am and Riley then came around to me poking his nose under the quilt , think he was trying to tell me that Elsa was awake. But she settled back down until 6:45 am when the alarm went off 😊 |

Well thought things were going well with Riley and Elsa but yesterday and today Riley has just not been interested in her , he is growling at her and snapping so i’m having to really watch him .
Although I think the main problem is he is very anxious because he can hear banging noise on our back due to work men putting on new roofing he is really stressed out and when he is like this he can’t focus on anything else ☹️
I’m going to ring the vets and order som nutra calm tablets .today so hopefully this will help him 😊

I’v turned the tv up , but it is so windy outside ☹️He hates wind . When he gets anxious he can’t normally focus on anything.
I think he will come around with Elsa I just think he is really anxious with the noise outside ☹️
I had 1 calming tablet left so I have given that and he is a little more chilled out now 😊

Poor Riley, and it was going so well with Elsa. I hope that the calming tablets help him and he can get back on track with accepting Elsa. Lovely pic of Elsa asleep.

Those are some lovely pics chantel! Shame about the growling etc. today but if you're sure it's to do with Riley's nerves at least it should be easily sorted. I think I would maybe keep them separate if Riley is a bit stressed due to other factors to stop him feeling like he has to growl or snap at Elsa and also to stop Elsa picking up on Riley's fears. Of course, if the tablets work then that might not be needed |

He has been very stressed out these last few weeks with the noise from the roofers ☹️I will be so glad when it is completed. I’v got some more calming tablets just as back up if needed 😊 |

Well Riley was fine with Elsa yesterday.
We went to pets at home yesterday and bought Riley a new toy 😊
Elsa can now jump up onto the sofa 😊so poor old Riley can’t escape now from her and Freddy is not impressed although he can hold his own with her .
When she gets too excited I have started putting her in the cage just for 10 minuets for some cooling off time and then it gives me some time that I can spend playing with Riley without Elsa attached to riley’s tail.
Since putting the baby gate on the kitchen Elsa has started going into the kitchen and settling down in the basket so I think she is feeling a little more safer now .
My task next week is to leave her in the kitchen just for short bursts to try and get her used to staying in the kitchen on her own .
She is very clean we have not had many accidents at all , although she prefers paper to puppy pads but the breeder was using newspaper so that has been a big help😊I have started taking her outside when she wakes although I have to be quick, sometimes by the time I have got my shoes on she has already made it to the paper 😊
I don’t think she is doing too bad , she is only 10 wks today.
At least things are looking much brighter than they were at the beginning of the week , the breeder has been messaging me every day she was worried that she wasn’t settling .
