Woody has been limping coming back from his walk. I've checked all of his paws and I can't find anything that has gotten stuck in them. If he doesn't improve soon I'm going to take him to the vet, don't know what it is though :/.

Poor Woody Sorry to be no help but I cannot think of anything it could be if you can't find anything in his paws Perhaps his leg joint hurts or something like that? Hope he feels better soon

How active was the walk? Mad play session? Lots of running about? Could be a strain, maybe take it easy for a few days, no walk then build it up again. If his still limping after a day or two of rest I would head to the vets.

We've been going through something similar with Jasper, started after a very energetic play in the river two weeks ago in Saturday. We played the waiting game and tried to get him to take it easy, not easy to do with a 10 month old terrier I can tell you. But he's doing fine now, I think it was a strain. Keep an eye on it and if there's no improvement in a few days then I'd certainly take him to the vets.

gladys he gets walked near roads so he is kept of a shortish lead..he just trots along x). I shall keep him rested though he will probably pug that he can't go out. cazypops it might be strain but he only got walked a bit longer today so I'm going to see how he goes after a bit of rest then if he is still the same take him to the vets. Nice to hear Jasper is okay now I guess that it's easier to strain little legs. I shall let you know of any improvements, thanks for your help .

Jademoo I'm sure you will but keep checking the paw pads, somethings they don't show anything to begin with and then may be swollen or sore looking after a few hours or over night.

Yeah I know the feeling and I thnk your right and thanks BT . gladys Well he rested his leg by lounging around the house and he doesn't seem to be limping anymore, I am thinking of buying some joint supplements though so that he is at less risk of injuring himself again .

That's good to hear and sounds like a good idea. Don't forget to make sure he still takes it slow for a few more days.
