Has anybody tried this food? I brought Woody a few tins to see if he likes it.

I've seen it in a few places but it looks way too expensive for me to so much as try it!

Funny enough I was only on their website today comparing it with Natures menu.
Looks good and I've been thinking about getting some for Cooper but it is quite pricey.
Can you let me know what you and Woody think please?

I looked into it when I was looking for grain free wet food. It looked good, but the thing that put me off was the fact there were only three varieties and I think only the salmon one is totally grain free? Has Woody had any yet? What did he think?

SarahHound yeah it does seem quite expensive..it's about £2 for one tin and I got 2, then I had to pay £2.99 for delivery. I think it would be better if there was a site you could buy it cheaper. gladys sure I'll let you know he has had his normal food tonight I think..but I'm going to have to mix it into his normal food if I'm going to change him to it. orpheous87 he hasn't had any yet I'll see if he likes it tomorrow. Yeah It would be better if they did more than 3 varieties, I just thought it would be a nice change for him he seems to be bored of his old food. And I thought the fact that it was grain free was good as he sometimes itches and I thought it might help with that. Didn't know that the salmon one was the only one completely grain free though, I brought the salmon and the chicken.

Jademoo Are you adding the wet to his kibble or does he only have wet? If it's just added as a topper then you can just put the new on his kibble and there shouldn't be a problem, as long as you don't give to much. When I spoke to the lady on the stand at Crufts I was sure she said they were all completely grain free?? But I am probably wrong, it happens a lot!!

I think I would try it if I had a smaller dog like you, but with three large ones needing around 400g - 600g a day, its just too much!

According to Which Dog Food listing all three flavours are totally grain free - clicking on the illustrations of the three flavours puts up the ingredients for each. (Glad I'm not feeding three Greyhounds - awesome quantities of food! Beautiful dogs though!)

Ooh glad you said that, I was so sure they all were as we were talking to the lady at crufts for ages. orpheous87 Do you think you were thinking about the Natures Menu range? I think they only have one that is grain free?? All the others have rice in them.

CollieSlave, gladys and Jademoo, you are all right! They're all grain free and I got completely mixed up lol. My apologies! I'm not sure which brand I was actually thinking of. But I do remember thinking that the only variety I would have bought was the salmon one because it contains Phytoforce Super Skin supplement - this was when I was searching for things to help Pepper's itchy skin. However, I definitely would feed all three varieties if they weren't quite as expensive. It is a shame that there doesn't seem to be any independent stockists.

orpheous87 Yeah I must admit the price is the only thing stopping me, although just serving it as a topper for breakfast would not cost so mad but I'm not sure you can freeze it like you can other wet foods??

gladys - No, I don't suppose it'd be quite as bad if you're not feeding whole tins every day. I'm not sure about the freezing either.
