Sorry if there's been one, been out of it for a while!! What music does everyone like? I really love music that makes me FEEL. I like a lot of soundtrack music, mainly from movies that I have known a long time, but not always. Right now I'm ADDICTED to 'Gollum's Song' by Emiliana Torrini. I'm rather nerdy and adore the Lord of the Rings trilogy, currently reading the books My all time favourite song is 'Nude' by Radiohead, and they are one of my absolute favourite bands ever, along with Linkin Park. I also really like Gomez's 'how we operate' I'm not really into the chart songs or anything like that (but I have nothing against those who are!) I like either very indie sounding, very ethereal or very rocky songs XD What is your music profile? Who are your favourite bands and what is your all time favourite song up til now? Do you listen to a specific song when you're happy/sad etc? My music taste changes all the time, songs come and go in my favourites list and what I listen to always depends on my mood. There you go, a few questions to be answered for anyone who loves music Edit: oops forgot a Country and that's a pretty big one, just have to put that in the 'other' ;(

I also love music that makes me FEEL - it's strange because you can instantly love a song or piece of music and you just get that feeling and you will always love it - it doesn't even have to remind you of anyone or anything. My favourite soundtrack music is from an old film, Badlands, 1973 and the xylophone music is taken from Carl Orff's Gassenhauer - apparently there was never a soundtrack cd made but it on You Tube. The music is often heard as background music is adverts and TV programmes.
I love rock music, some pop music, country music, some Indie and some classical music.
I love The Kings of Leon, Vampire Weekend, James, Scissor Sisters, OMD and Kasabian.
I dislike Jazz, Blues and Rap music.
Some of my favourite songs which I never get tired of hearing are:
A Kind of Magic by Queen Sound by James Sit Down by James Dead Ringer for Love by Meatloaf Diplomat's Son by Vampire Weekend Innocent Man by Billy Joel I Won't Let You Go by James Morrison Just Give Me a Reason by Pink and Nate Ruess

BASTILLE! Is that a genre? It should be. Love Bastille and I will continue to spam anyone who mentions music with my love of them. Anyway I chose 'Other' and 'Indie' because I think you'd mostly call what I listen to Alternative. Aside from my obsesssion with bastille I also listen to To Kill A King, Swiss Lips, You Me At Six, Two Door Cinema Club and Pegasus Bridge etc. I also listen to Blackbird Blackbird whilst revising because it has minimal lyrics.

I like lots of different types. Metal makes up the majority of my iPod, bands like Slipknot, Marilyn Manson etc. but I also love pop punk as well. I'm lucky that I've managed to see most of my favourite bands live too, although I'm yet to see Bryan Adams live and it annoys me that tickets were so expensive last time he came to Newcastle
