I figured that seeing as I have been posting quite a bit, I should probably introduce myself and my dogs.
We have 5 dogs in our household but I am directly responsible for 2 of them.
Hoddy is my 3 year old whippet x. We compete in agility and do Heelwork to music displays for various charities. Her KC name is Upsy daisy here we go, hence my username.
And there is a video of her on youtube doing the washing:
Lancelot is my 10 month old whippet pup. His mum was a rescue dog, who arrived pregnant, at just 11 months old. She had 8 pups, but rejected them all, so we took 4 to handrear, as the person with mum, a friend of ours, lives on her own and couldn't cope with all 8. This was the first time we had such small puppies but the whole litter srvived and we ended up keeping Lancelot. Hopefully he will also do agility.
Rosa is a 2 year greyhound who stands at 30 inches, to the shoulder. For those who dont know greyhounds, this is big for the breed, especially for a girl. As dogs go she isn't particularly good at anything really, but she won best rescue at discover dogs last year
Joey is a 7 year old whippet who spent 5 years inside the same house. As a result of this, he is terrible around other dogs when he is on his walks. When we got him, his clawds were almost embedded into his pads and he weighed just 10kg. 18 months later, he is alot calmer when outside, is a healthy 16kg and is missing 28 teeth after it was discovered they were infected and slowly poisoning his blood.
Last of all is Ellie, a 1 year old whippet x collie x greyhound. She too does agility but hasnt shown much of an aptitude for it, apart from the A frame. Either way she is great fun to be around, even if she isnt always the best behaved dog in the world.
