I'm new here today so forgive me if I don't do things right! I have a Black Lab and a Jack russell or should they be called Jack Rascals! I also had a Welsh Springer Spaniel up until Feb this year when we sadly lost him to Lymphoma, he was a beautiful boy and did very well on chemo for 14 months, we miss him so much. I'm also a dog groomer and have been for 24 years now and have always tried to think of something that would help owners keep their spaniel ears from getting muddy and matted and full of grass seeds. So with the help of my brothers crazy cocker spaniel! (and my beautiful boy before he passed) I have designed and produced a new product called Mutts Ear Mitts. I wanted to let you all know about these as I recently read a post on here about protecting ears from grass seeds and thought these maybe able to help all those who would need them. My website is www.muttsearmitts.co.uk for anyone who maybe interested. They are already helping lots of owners and I believe the doggies are happier too not having heavy soggy matted ears! Its a pleasure to be part of this community and thanks for letting be babble on. I will try to put some pics on here soon. thanks again.

Hi mutts welcome . My names Devon and I own a Norwegian Elkhound cross (dog in my avatar) called Samson and a Ginger tabby called Mario. I sympathise with you about your springer, I lost my Boxer (Jay) to Lymphoma in 2012 when he was only 8 . Unfortunately we didnt notice it until it was too late and surgery/chemo would have been too risky for him anyway due to his heart condition. I did part time work for a year in a dog groomers and also did some in college (I did animal management) and I really enjoyed it. Those Ear mitts look interesting, my aunties cocker spaniel could do with some actually as her ears are always filthy . Looking forward to pics

Thank you for your reply, i'm trying to put pics on here but it keeps saying file too big! Oh well I'll keep trying. Samson looks gorgeous! Thank you . I upload my photos onto flickr then put them onto here. I've found it really easy to use. Theres photobucket as well but I never got on with that. I don't think you can upload photos straight onto here, you have to go through one of those sites first.

Hi Mutts , sadley the way you are trying to upload no longer is available, the forum members used up the allowance within a month or so and as it is not a free service by yourpetforums you need to get yourself a free provider as pointed out by boxerluver30 photobucket and flicker are what most use . Shout if you need help x

Another question π when I click on the threads to read the conversations, the old posts come up first like ones starting from 2013. Is there a way of switching them around so the resent ones appear first? Sorry being dim! π

Another question π when I click on the threads to read the conversations, the old posts come up first like ones starting from 2013. Is there a way of switching them around so the resent ones appear first? Sorry being dim! π Can you give an ample thread where are you when you do this ? are you on the home page and just selecting one of interest ? Any thread that gets posted to will move to the top, but you would need to click on the last page to get the latest post on that thread. If you bookmark the thread then when you get a notification that someone has posted it will take you straight to that post Unless I am misunderstanding your question mutts ?

Ah thank you scallywag that's what I have been doing clicking on the last page to get the latest threads. I thought I was missing somethingπ thanks again π If you want an even quicker way to see the last post on a thread ( from the Home Page ) where there is a NEW next to an envelope on the left, if you click the far right instead that also takes you to the very last post on that thread x

Welcome to the forum mutts. Sad that you lost your Springer Spaniel to Lymphoma. I look forward to hearing more about your Labrador and Jack Russell.
