We're new to the forum so just wanted to say hi and introduce ourselves.
I'm Georgie's main staff member and I look after her every need when required!! She is a beautiful black and white moggy, about 16 years old and she's most famous for her pacemaker which was fitted at the RCV 3 years ago.
We're hoping to get to know some of you very soon.

Welcome to the forum Kathryn. Hope you enjoy it here, we're a friendly bunch Don't hesitate to ask anything, be it how to do something on the forum (we are beginning to get a faq/help section together so testers are very welcome & comments good or bad are helpful ) or about pets Also photos are most acceptable but at the moment there is a problem with loading them directly from your computer but they can be done through photobucket, flickr or other such hosting services. I'm Toni & have 4 rescue cats ranging from 3 to 14. I'm looking forward to hearing more about you & Georgie. A cat with a pacemaker certainly is different.

Thanks for the welcome.....I'm just finding my way through the site so hopefully this is the way to reply to you both. Thanks for the info....I did wonder why my pic wouldn't upload but maybe I will be able to add one via Facebook? Georgie is an amazing little cat. She was a rescue from the Cats Protection when she was about two and came to me with her son Kevin, a jet black 8 week old. Aside from her pacemaker she suffers from asthma, pancreatitis and chronic kidney disease, all currently under observation and treatment. She loves nothing more than to snuggle up to me on my bed all night after a long day of snoozing in her doughnut!! I'm looking forward to hearing more about your pets....the pictures are gorgeous:-)
