2 meals per day. Breakfast at around 7.15 weekdays, 9.00 on weekends. Dinner anywhere from 6.00 to 7.30
No idea how much I give, probably around 300g+ per day. Usually about 100g meat in morning then bones in evening.

Dotty has 170g of orijen per day split over two meals.
Depending on my shifts breakfast can be anywhere from 5am until 10am and tea from 6pm to 9pm.
if she's been doing lots of exercise she'll get extra sardines or maybe some wet topper, and if she's chunking up I just cut back her kibble.

Thank you everyone for all the replies! We think we will be getting Jess a GREEN dog feeder as she eats her 100g dry (morning and evening) in 30 seconds, too quick Thanks for the information on that! As far as how often feeding goes - is it better to give them slightly more in the morning or evening?

I personally think Cooper is better having the smaller meal in the morning. And then a bigger meal in the evening. After his breakfast he is more likely to be active (not straight away) so I don't really think he should have a full belly. But he wont go hunry as he does have treats of kibble, minijacks and carrot at certain points during the day. And then the larger evening meal will see him through the longer gap until breakfast. But like I say that's just how I see it.

CurlyCub, I think it's up to you and what works best for Jess as to whether or not you give her more at a particular meal. If you don't exercise her an hour after she's eaten, bloat shouldn't be an issue. When Amber ate kibble I found she was more hungry at dinner, and would leave some of her breakfast because she wasn't hungry. So I tended to feed her more in the evenings.
With Amber now eating raw, she will sometimes have more in the evenings, I aim for about 1 kg over the day but normally slightly more in the evenings. Sometimes dogs don't feel full if they have had two smaller meals, so Jess may prefer a slightly bigger meal once a day. I think it really comes down to you and your dog.

The whippets get 1/3 jug of working biscuits with somve fresh vegetables in the morning and 5 table spoons of raw tripe with a few biscuits in the evening.
The greyhound gets the same but 2x as much!

CurlyCub; make sure to update us on if and when you get Jess a GREEN Feeder, and whether progress is made and how she gets on with it
