I give Jess two meals a day, 100g each time of Arden Grange puppy-junior rich in fresh chicken dry food. Sometimes we give her a little less dry for some raw tripe but it's mostly that.
We give her the same quantity in the morning and evening and I was wondering if others do that same?
Do you give a larger breakfast and less dinner? A smaller breakfast and more dinner? Or the same?
Also she often eats her 100g within 30 seconds and, after talking to BorderTerrier, I think it may be a good idea to get her a GREEN dog feeder. She enjoys puzzles and it'll really help slow her down. What do others think?
Thanks very much

barley has 300g a day, 3/4 in the morning and then 1/4 in the evening, sometimes he gets a packet of wet food a day, plus he gets 20g training treats a day
he has a kong wobbler that slows down his eating and he gets treats in there so he has to work for them

For Bramble she gets 200g of Burns puppy kibble a meal (and is fed twice a day) I give her 1/2 for breakfast and 1/2 for dinner. I have a GREEN feeder, it really does slow them down. Here is a good video on it:
Otherwise you can sprinkle her kibble in the grass for her to sniff out. Or do it in the house on the floor. We also have a KONG wobbler, Amber loves to try and get food out of that, but make sure your kibble isn't too big otherwise it won't fit through the hole.

Earl eats around 150g a day, 75g in the morning and 75g in the evening. He eats dry kibble, Symply adult dog food, in a normal dog bowl in the morning, GREEN in the evening, so not to frustrate Earl. GREEN also has taught Earl to eat slower in a normal bowl. Life saver of a product!
Training treats he gets takes him up to about just under 200g on agility days.
He has a KONG original which is wonderful and keeps him entertained as well as full from the treat. I don't give him a stiffed KONG everyday however.

My 20month old labs get fed twice a day on dry food, equal split between morning and evening.
Morning feed is between 7.30&8.30 depending on when I get up but they have been known to lie in till 9,30am with me and not bother until I get them up. So lazy!
Evening feed is around 7pm, Tuesdays are later since we don't get home from training till 8.30ish and they're fed after it.
They get a toothbrush every morning after their breakfast and we have a few chew puzzle toys they get occasionally and I have a slider puzzle I use a few times a week. Enzo will use it, dexters not focused on it at all.
They get the odd biscuit off my mum throughout the day if she's with them, or give them chews or the likes. They love carrots and have been watching me making carrot and coriander soup so had a carrot each
if were away and trecking thru fields and walking loads more than usual ill give them a wee bit extra

Pepper and Ellie get 160g dry food a day mixed with 100g of wet food (260g in total). They're only fed once a day anywhere between 6pm and 7.30pm.
Ellie is fed her food in a Kong to slow her down, but she's now an expert at emptying it quickly.

Ours are fed after their walks and they have two walks per day. Kidder has 170g meat/bone per meal and lil Babs has 110g. Any veg or oil is extra. I don't buy any dog biscuits or chews. They get a very small amount of something to go to bed with or if they are left home alone. For this they get a minuscule amount of cheese or ham or something. And I do mean tiny, chopped up into pieces about the size of a pencil end. I am as tight as a flies backside But am I? If I cook something like a gravy dinner or something else with veg and a sauce that's appropriate (like steak in ale or chicken chasseur) then they will score a small amount. This happens probably around once every ten days/fortnight. They get a small covering of their bowls with this, it's just a snack sized taste and is like a supper treat extra to their meals. If we have fish n chips (about once a month if that) they always score a tiny bit of fish each, complete with batter. Other than that they always get the end off the cucumber To be honest they are a gourmet pair and love their food.

Mine get more in the morning, because greyhounds/lurchers are prone to bloat, and I figure if they are going to bloat, its better that they do it during the day when the vets are open than at night when the bills go sky high!
That's Sarah logic LOL.
They have dry food, scrambled egg and some cooked meat (usually bacon, sausage, black pudding etc) left overs with breakfast at 9am-10am.
Dinner they get their dried food again and chicken mince, pasta, and veggies at 6pm.

I feed twice a day, BARF.
The dogs get about 1/3 of their daily ration in the morning around 7 on work days, 9ish on my days off 2/3 in the evening after evening exercise around 8.30.
Morning meal is usually mince type such as Prize choice, NI, minced beef or tinned sardines, evening meal is meaty bones, ocassionally recreational bones - beef rib.
I never weigh anything, if dogs are looking chunky they will get less next time or extra exercise. Should they look skinny (God forbid I'd let that happen) they will get a little extra until the right condition is apparent.

Cooper is fed twice a day. 1/3rd in the morning, around 8:30am. 2/3rds in the evening, around 7pm. Breakfast is Kibble with a wet food topper & carrot & 60ml of water to boost daily intake. Tea is kibble with carrot & yumega plus & 100ml of water. I have a rough marker on the kibble cup but don't measure out the wet food. I know my dog so know how much is about right. On agility and dog class days the kibble he get for tea is less as he gets lots while training. I know the shape Cooper should be and if he seems to be losing his waist then I will cut his tea down a bit.
