So true. Mieze has to sit in any new (or any old but newly re-emptied or relocated) box for a good while, always in the same position, until she's happy that everyone knows it is her box haha.
When I last took Carlotta home from the vet hospital, they hadn't told me before I could take her home that day and since I was getting a taxi and trusted her, I ended up taking her home in a wee cardboard box they gave me. She got in quite happily and the taxi driver thought it was the most adorable thing he ever saw, he said haha. My man was delighted when I knocked on the door and he opened it to see me holding a box with Carlotta's head poking out the top looking delighted haha.

Point a laser pointer to any target (a box or any container) and see the magic.

Cats are very hard to catch. Just ask Duchess. The other thing is, I saw in a supermarket a laser toy with 5 different images. Duchess might like it but I don't think it's appropriate, would rather use conventional toys, what do others think of laser toys?
