I bought Elsa a remote control micro mouse the other day. Oh it's so much fun! The sad thing is is that I'm so rubbish at right and left that I keep making it go the wrong way, so instead of zooming away from Elsa it runs bang into her. Luckily she seems to realise it's me being naff and plays along thumping it none the less. However she also loves to tip it over when it's the furthest away from me then try to eat the tail...little chuff! Anyone else tried this toy? I'm debating who likes it more me or Elsa!

Sounds like fun Vonnie. You'll have to take some pics of Elsa and her new mouse.

Vonnie, that sounds like Elsa is having fun with the mouse & with you I've seen a couple of these on various websites, which one did you get & does it work well on carpets? We've had 1 or 2 wind-up mice & they don't seem to work to well on carpet, hard floors is another matter. Aww that sounds like great fun! Mine prefer the real thing though. Know what you mean

I'm guessing you.

Mine don't like noisy toys and are afraid of the mouse Elsa loves.

I've seen them in the shops but not sure.....Munchkin can be quiet fickle when it comes to toys...at the moment the toy of choice is a large cardbored tube which we roll a ball down she loves it!

Here's a picture of Elsa showing off her new toy (well, one of them) and waiting for me to make it move! As she is an indoor cat I need to buy and make up new toys and games all the time. This is the first toy she's had like this! It does work on carpets unless they are quite plush. My living room carpet has had a few years worth of feet pounding it down so the mouse runs ok on it. It is much better on solid flooring though. Other bad part is it is easily tipped over. Only means I have to get up to put it back on its wheels. So far Elsa prefers this toy over her new Da Bird toy attachment so we're happy! I also got it half price...I don't think the quality is enough to warrant paying full price for it!

Thanks for the info on the suitability for carpets & the price

I think we're tight, we just buy those cheap packets of mice at the supermarket and attach fishing line to it and they chase it all over the place. They love it. But Bandits favorite toy is an elastic band.

Sounds like fun Vonnie, ours would love one of those...how long would it last with naughty little Oris and Meezers? ... they may look a delicate breed but they can be quite destructive lol
