Hello, welcome to the forum! Yup, as scallywag mentioned I'm from Scotland but live in Berlin now. I got my current pets while over here (Mieze the cat and Rosa the dog), have travelled back to Scotland with my dog though and planning to do so again this December for a month long trip. I know someone who brought her two cats over here from the UK as well and they seem to have settled in fantastically.

How do you find Italy for dogs compared to the UK? I'd love to bring mine there on holiday sometime (she nearly always travels with me). I find Germany is much more accepting of dogs than in the UK in many ways, and in Berlin I can take Rosa into the vast majority of restaurants, shops, pubs and really almost anywhere I can go to be honest, whereas in my hometown in Scotland I did a phone around last time and only one pub or restaurant would let her inside, and two said she could stay in the beer garden outside but not come in. All the others wouldn't allow it for hygienic reasons haha (although at one of them I regularly see rats running around their off-limits-to-dogs beer garden, so I think Rosa would be the least of their worries haha!).
