How much does your dog weigh and you have to give for one meal? On the website it is pretty unhelpful, it just says:
Small Dog (1-5kg): 1/3 - 1 1/4 Medium Dog (5-10kg): 1 1/4 - 2 Large Dog (10-25kg): 2 - 4 Extra Large Dog (25-40kg): 4 - 5 2/3
I am not able to afford to give him 4 1/2 pouches a day! (Though I'd feed it with a mix of CSJ)
Thanks

Barley sometimes has these mixed as a topper on his food, he gets half a pouch a day, the best wet food i found was wainwrights as i only had to feed one tray a day, he had this in the last half term, worked well for him and he lost some weight so good for him

I use calculation that 100 g wet is equivalent of 30 g dry. Hope that helps.
Found that generally works for me for whatever brand of dry and wet I use.

Ahh thanks you two, helped a lot! I'm thinking a bit of this, a bit of CSJ and half a cows heart a week, plus scraps and he's not doing badly!

I use the same calculation as Caz, but I only actually give my girls 100g of wet food and mix it with their kibble. It works for them and their weights are pretty well maintained.

Could you just do more kibble with a wet food topper? Then you would be giving a little of wet every day but the cost wouldn't be as much as say half and half??

Here's a comparison between Naturediet and Wainwright's: www.whichdogfood.co.uk/compare-dog-foods.php?comparison=foods&compare%5B%5D=0119&compare%5B%5D=0471&compare%5B%5D=0472So looking at your calculations, Scooby gets 385g of dry food a day? (unless you're deducting some for wet I mean) Using the calculation Caz mentioned, if you fed him 100g of wet food (for easiness), you'd only need to feed him 355g of dry food a day and split into two, that would be 177.5g per meal, and you'd either add 100g of wet to whichever meal you choose, or add 50g to each meal. If you mix it up completely, the 100g of wet will coat the dry fairly well. It will just look like a smaller amount of food and a tray or tin would last you roughly 3 days.

I prefer Nature's Harvest to either Naturediet or Wainwrights, it has a higher oil content.
You have to feed according to your budget and, if your dog looks ok, then I would not worry too much about it

Thanks for the help everyone! (:
I'm not sure what you mean Gladys! XD I'm planing to give him dry in the morning and a mix of dry and wet in the evening, if that's what you mean?
Looking at Which Dog Food there really isn't much in it. Thanks for doing the maths there Orpheous, maths is a weakness of mine! >.< I went by the guidelines on the CSJ website for the dry food serving, and then deducted some on the days I'd give him wet with it.
I suppose I could try both and see which he likes best/works best for us.

No problem! Maths is a weakness of mine too - hence why I only give them 100g of wet! It's nice and easy to work out that way

At the moment as I am using up wet meat one is having 200 g dry and 400 g wet and the other is 150 g dry and 400 g wet.
Treats are extra but they don't get many.

Weims Sorry I meant why not just take 30g of kibble out and add the 100g of wet. That way you have the taste of the wet but it will last longer. This is what Cooper has for his breakfast. I was outside typing so couldn't see the screen properly, so trying to keep the answer short?!?! Basically what orpheous87 said. HaHa!!
