instead of the moaning about old members why don't you make contact with them
Like I have done, to a complete stranger, so she may not be best pleased with me seems as she doesn't know me, but there is nothing to stop you making contact with the people you miss is there ??
See below
Apologies for the PM seems as you don't know me, but it would appear you are soley missed on the forum, what with all your expert advice and chat.
Whats the chances of you coming back and giving the new forum a bit of a boost ? After all Rome was not built in a day LOL
There is the need for more serious threads on here apparently and your name keeps cropping up.
I am now off to read your posts so far and if I have put my foot in it PM'ing you again apologies xx

I am going to be more brutal than scallywag.
Those of you moaning about this forum - just one question: What is keeping you on here? There are many other forums out there.
So please instead of negative thoughts come up with something we can all get our teeth into - no matter what age.
Thank you!

fatamorgana I very much agree with you. If you don't like it, keep in contact with forum members but leave the forum!

scallywag I think some of the people that are missing have not joined the new forum so unsure how we would be able to contact them. But great idea.

A few members from the old forum gave out their email/facebook/skype etc so everyone could keep in touch. I don't want to mirrow what CurlyCub said, but I couldn't agree more. If you don't like the forum, leave but keep the old friends. Its quite simple! There's more than the forum on the Internet. Keep their contact on something they don't want to leave instead of forcing people to stay on the forum then complaining that they haven't. Its like: if you have a problem, try to solve it. You miss an old member, find a way to keep in contact.
