Hi my 12 year old cat smarty sounded like she was wheezing about 2 weeks ago so I contacted the vets and they asked if she was eating and seemed ok in herself I said yes she was and they told me if it didn't clear up make an appt anyway 2 days later it stopped she is eating drinking and playing in garden with my other cats and the wheezing sound has started again been told it could be hayfever any advice appreciated

Well my dog Cooper gets seasonal allergies and when it's really bad he gets Piriton, which seems to work well for him. I just give one small spoon in a syringe, I think it's the lowest childrens dose but I haven't got the box handy.
What did the vets advise after they said it could be hayfever? Did they offer any meds?
