Little Pig (Or The Pig as she was more commonly known) from the yard died today.  The poor thing was diagnosed with kidney failure last week and didn't make it to see tomorrow. She was sitting next to me only yesterday at the bottom of the hill watching ponies race up it. She might have been deaf but she was the funniest dog around. Loved to bark at the stars while Lisa taught lessons in the evenings in winter. She will be very missed. Only 6 years old. Very sad day.  RIP little messer.  |

Aww bless her. She's very young to die from kidney failure. Yes, I know. The vets had said it was probably genetic (she was a rescue) more than anything else but her levels were so high that they were stunned she was even alive when Lisa took her in. She was very underweight though and wasn't eating much so we all knew it was coming. She's in a much better place now. I'm having to find something else to do to take my mind off of it because I feel terrible. I can only imagine how Lisa feels. She was only a year older than Oscar. They both loved to play together. |

That's a real shame only a week since diagnosis. She sounds like she a great life at the stables though  RIP Little Pig |

Sorry to see this bextull,sweet little Pig looked and sounds like she was quite a popular character.Try to comfort yourselves by remembering she had a grand life,short but very happy.
