Hello, everyone! My name is Jacob and this week I adopted an older German shepherd. She's very friendly and very playful. Called her Bow. Will post pictures of her here in the near future so stay tuned  Pleased to meet everyone! |

Welcome to the forum jn,Bow sounds lovely,looking forward to seeing pics of her.Skip was adopted at a year old,and is a good ambassador for rescue dogs,he is now 13,he's proved to be a lovely popular dog who is loved by everyone he meets.

Welcome to the forum Jacob. I'm Jenny and I have 7 cats and 2 dogs. Well done for adopting an older dog. My first dog when I got married was a German Shepherd called Sacha. I look forward to seeing pics of Bow and hearing more about you both.

I'm a member of a group that have been trying to close IvyLeafKennels down for years. Check out their website. Its like Amazon for dogs where you can put them in your basket! Note on their website it states ''We do not claim to be 'jacks-of-all-trades' as some sellers do, though via our National Network of Licensed Breeders we can obtain quality puppies of other breeds for our clients, confident in their quality.''In other words...if they haven't got what you want they will ship them in from another puppy farmer! They often advertise in the local press and always state ''Can deliver to those who are unble to travel.'' Really? I wonder why! Ivyleafkennels also claim all of their pups are vet checked, vaccinated (of course they aren't!) and have been caught falsifying pedigree papers. Its a disgrace! And shameful that our society (notably the councils who dole out the breeding licences) allow these individuals to operate these canine cruelty camps!! www.ivyleafkennels.co.uk/ |
