Right, this is a strange one, but it's really starting to annoy me and I don't know how to resolve it.
Our next-door-but-one neighbour has a West Highland White terrior, but doesn't walk it herself (even though she can, she doesn't bother). Instead another (very nosy) neighbour from across the road walks it twice a day for her.
Trouble is, when she walks it past my house, she lets it wander & scrat all over my front lawn. All the houses on our street are open plan, but we have a hedge across the front of ours. She has it on an extending lead & lets it wander all round my lawn, wee up our tree in the middle of the garden and then scrat the lawn up (although the lawn is dry and hardly any grass at the minute, but that's not the point). I'm constantly finding dog poo just behind the hedge, on our side, but can't prove it's her & this dog as not actually seen it poo yet.
I've tried to speak to her, but when I go outside, she disappears very quickly. She won't talk to me, even if I've shouted "excuse me" after her, she just ignores me. I don't want an argument, just to ask that she keeps the dog off my garden.
My husband suggested that the next dog poo I find to pick it up & dump it on her garden! What, and then I get reported? Don't think so!!

Unless I've misunderstood this loz, then with a hedge at the front, albeit with an extending lead, either the hedge is being damaged by the lead or she's on your property as well as the dog. In either case it has potential legal implications (damage or trespass but I'm nothing to do with the legal profession so just an impression). OK I realise that you don't want to cause problems in the neighbourhood so not suggesting you take any legal action but it is another string to any discussion. It might be worth having a word with the dog owner instead of the walker & see if she can sort something out. Although I do like the sign scallywag found although I suspect the point might be lost on the dog walker! I'm assuming neither of these are the lady who's "caring?" for Jensen. How's that going? Sounds like you really do need that move.

lol scallywag - love the sign. Might copy that & print it off & stick it on the hedge! If that doesn't work, post a copy through her letterbox.
tonib - no, not the same lady "caring" for Jenson, she lives on another street and yes, he's still there (sighs).
This dog-walker stands at the top of our drive & lets the dog walk across our front, behind the hedge. My car is normally at the top of the drive, ready for the school run and she even lets the dog wee up my car!
I've got a good mind to take my other 2 cats (Smudge & Button) over to her front (which is all bushes & pebbles and very tidy) and just let them in there for a toilet session ;-)

How unpleasant for you! I would set up surveillance camera to find out who leaves the poo. I would also follow the dog walker home and I would confront her about letting her dog use my property as his toilet. If they are responsible for the poo,I would pick it up and deliver to her house - saying something like - you forgot this on my property. Hopefully wouldn't need many visits from you before she went elsewhere. Few years ago somebody left dog poo outside my front gate. I attached some poo bags to the gate and a sign asking to pick up, also pointed out that dog fouling is a criminal offence (as this was on a public highway). It worked, poo didn't return. The fact that we have a surveillance camera above the front door might have helped.

I'm sorry but if it were me I'd be telling her straight cheeky sod. Maybe take a photo of her and dog in the act and post it through her door, letting her know if it happens again, you'll be passing it onto the council?
