Okay, I think I have it nailed. It's canine eczema. Decided against the vets tomorrow as it's going to cost a bomb for a consultation on a bank holiday weekend even if they are my friends at the vets and I get discount for being a colleague! It's something in the environment irritating him. Things I have introduced lately are: Vax carpet cleaner solution (which we think it is - even though its the pet safe one) Tea tree pet shampoo Playing in the stream and mud Here is a photo I found on the internet which looks like identical to Bernies, although Bernies is on a much smaller scale. I find it funny that the 'homes for pets solution' contains EXACTLY the same ingredients as the regular solution.... ffs

Ooh, we just bought some of that Vax solution for our carpet cleaner! I shall keep a close eye on my two once we've used it.

Ooh well done you for finding out what it is on your own. But keep an eye on it just in case. How are you going to treat it? Sudocrem comes to mind?? Cooper gets that on his tummy when his seasonal allergies are really bad. It's a bit mess so you have to watch the furniture but it's very good with dry and itchy spots.

PF; is Burnie still reacting to it by itching and scratching at it? How are you going to treat it?

That's the thing BT, he hasn't reacted to it. No itching or scratching what-so-ever! I have been treating it the last 3 days with Sudocrem Gladys, and it's going! Hurrah!
