Sloth Hugs Cat - YouTube.webarchive (1.27 MB) (This should work now The sloth clearly adores the cat. I thought this was wonderful to watch one animals love of another but my only worry were the sloth's claws getting a bit too near the cat's eyes! (Opps Not sure if this has worked guys )

I was sitting here tense expecting the cat to react, specially near the end, those claws were sooo close to the eyes. Animals can be jerks was good too

Works fine now Interesting, not sure if the cat was fully happy about it, thee was one waarning growl at one time based on the facial reaction & like you I was worried about the claws on occasion. However the sloth was doing an amazing job of grooming the cat. Looks like they aren't slothful - a misnomer it seems

It is lovely to see how different animals will get on, I was also worried about those claws too close to the cats eyes. I had a kitten years ago which I bought from a monkey rescue, the monkeys (Barbary Macaques) would cuddle the kittens, the lady took me round to show me all her monkeys and apes, one of them was a big mandrill, very scary, she said that one would only allow her husband in to feed it. It had lived in a zoo/theme park and the rollercoaster noises had caused it to have fits so she took it on.
The Macaques were allowed in her house for a treat and that is when they would cuddle the kittens.
When I brought the kitten home she acted like a monkey and would just leap and jump everywhere and swing from the curtains, it took me ages to calm her down.
