she has has another blood test..for FPL TLI Folate and Cobalamin..what ever they are... she also got her nails clipped..she was very good as it was her favourite vet..Adam...(she was flirting with him) lol..have to take in a poo sample as well.. got to wait for the results to come back..he said her tummy feels a bit soft..also she has lost weight again..a rapid decline since her last visits... he did mention a slow growing cancer but said it wouldn't be fair to her to put her through evasive surgery..not sure where we go from here.. she is refusing the hi life food now aswell so had to give her whiskers...but she seems happy enough. It's not the best news but she's doing ok..she has always been a fussy eater but she's been on hilife for months now...I get them tins of tuna for a treat and they both enjoy it.. funny thing is that Buddy hardly eats anything and he's chunky..whereas Mary eats anything in sight and is thin.. I want to give her every chance..don't care what it costs she is worth it...but glad I have them both insured...I keep telling Mary she is very lucky that we adopted her as alot of people wouldn't/couldn't pay out for what I have on her...and the bill keeps going up....

Glad Mary saw her favourite vet, flirting with him no less, & it included a beauty salon session !! But sorry to hear she's losing weight again. Let's hope the test give some light on what's up with her. Mary definitely is a lucky girl to be adopted by someone with your attitude to care

I'm so glad that Mary was lucky enough to be adopted by you. Just carry on loving her and spoiling her - she deserves it. I hope you get some positive results from the tests.

Glad to hear Mary's pancreas is OK but sorry to hear she's going to be having weekly injections - will that be something that you will be able to do yourself? I wonder what's causing the lack of absorption of vitamin B? Hope you get the answers you need (as well as the meds) today.

Oh crikey littlekitty, we found that giving Penny Metacam was best done by crushing some treats mixing the liquid with that & wrapping it in some wafer thin ham or chicken but that's only a small amount of liquid so 3 Dreamies was enough to soak the liquid up. Don't know if that is a viable option for you.

Toni's advice is worth a try. I know what it is giving something to a wriggling cat. And mine don't like treats.
