Benefits of a trained dog are nearly limitless, some benefits are: Puppy classes provide the opportunity for getting your new family member started off right. Puppy socialization has been found to be critical to the psychological health of adult dogs. Dog training classes provide dog owners the skills and knowledge of normal dog behaviors. Training provides dogs with the basic good manners (from the polite greeting when guests arrive, to walking nicely on the leash). It feels great when your dog can understand your verbal communication and respond you in a positive way.

Most people on here wouldn't be impressed with the suggestion that to train your dog to walk on a loose lead you have to become the pack leader.
So all you folks get on that website and get your trial for $1 only!!!

Both mine walk impeccably to heel and on a nice loose lead wherever we go - and I have used fun and positive training methods to do this. It does not take pack leaders. It takes you and your dog coming together to access a behaviour and working as two to achieve, and having fun while doing so. Dogs learn better with these type of methods. Be on your dog's level and you will both understand one another so well.

Poppy walks impeccably to heel too, on a loose lead to. I've also used positive training methods, as that's what Poppy thrives on.

I was wondering who that was in the profile picture. I assume it must be Doggy Dan. Looks like a boy band member.

Haha well I'm buggered with that, Mieze is the pack leader in our household and she's way too lazy to take Rosa out for walks. She can't even step over my arm without pausing for a nap halfway across.
