Aww cats just love the sun on their backs. Lovely pictures Lynn. Sorry Toni - got blazing sun here today - and yesterday and the day before - cant last can it!

Mary is enjoying the swing today, and she even allowed me to sit on it and we had some time together. She is so warm and lovely today, she's still on it now. Buddy isn't allowed on it though, even if she isn't using it, he knows his place. lol
Roman you really must have a swing, best thing my Mum ever bought me for lounging around in the sun. Mary x

I'm always surprised when the forum cats enjoy the sun. In all my 76 years living with cats, I've never had one that likes it. Great pictures, by the way. Must be the Dutch sun for my neighbours' and friend's cats prefer the shade too

its lovely to see a cat lying in the sun and buddy and mary seem to be making the most of it i also agree with dutchkitties i think after a while most cats will head for shade

Roman loves the sun but does find shade after a while if it's really hot. With Lexie having thin white hair on her ears & nose we have to put suncream on her in strong sunshine
