NO your not on your own, I love F1, BIG BIG Lewis Hamilton fan. Stared watching it with my dad back when James Hunt was driving. Never managed to get to any races live, but hoping to rectify that soon. Would love to go to the British Grand Prix if we could just find someone to look after the animals while we're away. What are your fav races? Mine are The British, Monaco and Singapore.

Woohoo I'm not alone lol
I started watching cause my dad shouted at me on a Sunday if I even moved when a race was on and I've been hooked ever since I was wee Hav to admit I've never liked Hamilton but he's growing on me this season. Love the Belgian gp, moanacos always a winner but I'm not really that fussed over Singapore, don't know why. I like sepang. Visited it when the Japanese gtis were there but never f1s and it was a great track. No races this year but hoping next year x

Yeah I like the Belgian gp, the weather is so unpredictable. Not seen anything as bad as Canada 2010, The weather then was atrocious there that year, but it was awesome how JB came through to win.

Yeh that' was a great race! We decided on Belgium over silverstone as for the two of us it was only about £200more expensive and made a proper holiday out it. And last year we somehow managed to get into the pits and spent p3 drinking coffee in the Pirelli motor home. Most surreal day ever since we then trudged back to our tent and rest of the weekend on a hill. Met a few drivers on the way of course. If u get a chance do it and the whole camping experience is amazing I'd like to go to silverstone but for me and other half and few family members who want to come we'd be cheaper going to spa

We were going to go to the TT this year but for one thing and another its not going to happen, but we are going to one of the BTCC races later on in the year. A friend of ours works of Dinojet so we will be going with them. Can't wait, and Frank Wrathall is doing well this year.
Was gutted that the BBC is only showing half the races live now. We don't watch a lot of tv to justify getting Sky just for the F1.

Ooooo f1 lol sorry just saw this thread! Yes I'm a huge f1 fan, one day I'm gonna have Webbers babies, fact! LolBack in the day when I was just a young slip of a girl we used to go to a lot of the touring cars races, over the years have followed wrc (Solberg and gronholm) and within past ten years or so have upped the speed and now mainly follow f1. Am a red bull fan (sorry but not Vettel) and love di Resta, being scottish and all. Not a fan of Hamilton I'm afraid though will admit he has great talent. I also like jb as he's so down to earth and does great work for charity.
Last year we went to Budapest, my first live f1, loved it. We had silver tickets but tbh we spent most of our time in the general area. Would like to experience gold grandstand but wow so expensive and I can't sit still for long! This year we thought about either Spa or Camping at Silverstone but nothing arranged as yet
teegiebear I like the Ice Man, he's a dude with 'tude!
what coverage do we like on tv? I prefer the bbc qualie and race buildup but sky for race coverage itself. Actually I'm missing Jake!

Must admit I miss Jake too, wasn't sure how he would do to begin with when the BBC took it back over from ITV but he was great and became very knowledgeable, Suzi is ok but I think I would have prefered Lee McKenzie had been given the job. When and if we get to Silverstone we'll be camping too. Looked at the site that comes up on Silverstones ticket site and it looks great, just wish we could take the dog as he's the only draw back. I like both Webber and Vettel but I must say I lost a bit of respect for him the other week. That was very naughty. I'm not happy that two of my fav races aren't live on the BBC this year, Monaco and Singapore.

Definitely a sky f1 coverage fan, I love dc but I hate that other idiot commentator I can't listen to him it drives me made. Love crafty and met Jonny Herbert and Simon in spa and they were lovely, Natalie Pinkham too

I can't comment on Sky as I've never watched it, but I love the banter between DC and EJ.

I record both and often watch the bbc build up so I can see them winding each other up

Yea I wasn't sure about Jake at first either but he soon earned his stripes. Having said that he's gone downhill since starting presenting quiz show on bbc1, can't remember what it's called. Is that your career now Jake, the go-to quiz guy for the bbc? You're better than that!
I too love the banter cazypops. All Damon Hill ever seems to do is moan moan moan, he winds me up summit rotten. Which is a shame cos I have a lot of respect for him as a driver.
