Not been on the forum for a while and just to let everybody know I had to have my little guy Reg PTS on 29th of August as the pain meds were not working for his arthritis any more, so I am down to 4 dogs now, he is a big miss too  |

Thank you, he has a lot of friends at the bridge (Conan, Ruby, Hicks, Millie and Bob the cat) he was only 9 years old but it was his time to go and no matter how much I wanted to keep him here |

Very very sorry to hear of your loss of Reggie,Rubyroo. It's said it isn't the length of life that is important but the quality,though that doesn't stop the loss breaking our hearts.Your dogs look so healthy and happy,there is no doubt Reggie had a wonderful life.
You did the final act of kindness we can all do for an adored pet,you put his failing quality of life first,and let him go.

So sorry to hear about Reggie. As you say 9 isn't a great age but you did the right thing for him. The last act of kindness one can do for our loved pets RIP Reggie now enjoying fitness again & playing with his old friends & making new ones at Rainbow Bridge. |
