Hi All! It's been absolutely ages since I've been on here Last time I did post was early January, and some people might remember it was about my kitty Ella (British short hair blue) who was diagnosed with kidney failure. I thought it was about time I left an update as I vanished after that, mostly because of a really busy schedule BUT on the bright side, Ella is alive and well (still has kidney failure). So after a tough week and a half in the vets in January, she managed to pull through. Our fab vet and the staff did an amazing job of rescuing her, because she was at a really bad point and it all happened so fast. After that we had to give her a tablet every day, try to force her to eat a special type of food and also I had to learn how to inject a needle under her skin for fluid (twice a day :S) So now, we still are doing the fluid twice a day, however she doesn't mind so much. I've found it to be a bonding experience really, as with our busy lives we don't spend as much time with our pets as we want to. She now eats the tablet herself quite happily, and doesn't need the special food any more. She's really happy and full of love, she always wants a cuddle She also has gotten into the habit of meowing really loudly and very often for her canned food which she absolutely adores now hahah! So I'm really glad to say she's a happy kitty who's put weight back on. Just thought I'd let you guys know. Taja xo
