I have laughed so much at the thread with the dogs naughtiest moments that I thought us cat owners should copy and have one for the cats as well. I know that we have covered similar things on the cat forum previously but they are so funny.
I'll start with my Kiba-Khan. In the house one of the litter trays is near the TV unit which has a cupboard with glass doors underneath. Kiba-Khan had used the litter tray and for some odd reason when he goes to toilet he does the motions of covering it with cat litter but doesn't actually use the litter, he scratches on the glass doors for ages, looks back at the litter tray and wonders why nothing is covered. I got up one morning and could see that Kiba-Khan had used the litter tray - the glass doors of the TV unit were wide open and the Orange broadband box was lying in the litter tray with some cat poo on it!!
Poor Kiba-Khan suffers with constipation and often does what we call 'conkers' (same size and as hard as the real thing) and they stick to his tail and then fall off. One morning I had just got up and the postman knocked the door but as I was up the garden he then knocked on the window. When I looked Kiba-Khan had left one of his conkers on the windowsill. My husband wasn't amused but I thought it was hilarious.
Last one about Kiba-Khan and his conkers. One evening Kiba-Khan had been lying on our bed and my husband said that he was sure he could smell something - had a good look and couldn't see anything. When we got up in the morning and I straightened the duvet....there it was, one conker!! I didn't tell hubby.

Jenny that made me laugh, our Bianca does the same and instead of scratching the litter she will scratch the side of the cupboard next to her tray. Bianca will play with her toys downstairs and she talks to them constantly, this can go on for hours, I think she must have some imaginary friends when she plays as she becomes very vocal, quite unusual for a Persian. Isak makes me laugh when he hears the postman and runs down to meet him...or meet the post he pops through the letterbox and then he usually hides it in his room. Paris sits by me on the sofa and has a habit of playing leap frog across my lap over and over again. Dave makes me laugh when he runs round trying to play with Xenia, he will run and snore loudly at the same time and then he will shake his head and shoot off again at 100mph before he stops in his tracks to get his breathe back. Taylor and Xenia make me laugh when they both walk round glued to each others sides, they are like Siamese (conjoined) twins. Wispa is really comical when she sits at the back of my head trying to pull my hair off, although after a while it can get a bit much. Hughie one of the kittens goes for his daily bath every morning...he never fails to dive off the bedside cabinet and land straight in to his water bowl, then he runs off shaking his legs everywhere.

Oh, those stories are very funny!!! Elsa has fallen in the bath 3 times. The third time she fell fully in and went under. She quickly surfaced, used my leg as a life raft and then a springboard to jump out of the bath. Badly scratched and bleeding, I dried what I could to see where she's run off to (and to dry her a bit). She'd run into the laundry room where some dry laundry was sat waiting to be put away. Needless to say as she saw me approach she did a huge shake and lo! the laundry was no longer dry. Once I was cleaning my teeth, looking in the bathroom mirror. In my periferal vision I saw this daft Elsa jump onto the loo seat and look into the loo. I must have looked away as the next time I looked at her she was not in the same position. Back legs in the air and madly scrabbling, the daft mog had only gone and fallen into the toilet. She got out easily enough but did any of this put her off loo watching? Did it heck!

Great stories! Frankie has had fun teasing our next-door neighbours dogs on top of the fence then once they got out into the drive and he ran up my dad's arm, trying to get onto his head! The funny thing is he now lives with a dog

funny stories Neo uses his catflap as a door knocker and won't stop knocking on it until we open the back door. If he is on his own upstairs he puts his toy spider into his mouth and meows the house down until someone comes up. He gets these mad thoughts into his head sometimes and starts climbing up the curtains. He drowns you with dribbles when you're a sleep in bed, I got woke up last week by a big long dribble into the eye. He has stolen chicken from the bfs plate haha But the naughtiest thing he does is, if I throw bread out for the sparrows and he sees me doing it he will go out eat as much bread as he can and then he'll pee on the rest

Great idea Jenny, loving these stories.
The first Xmas we had Roman (he was 3ish) I'd forgotten to cook the stuffing for Xmas dinner. When I realised I cooked it but it wasn't ready until we were already well into the main course. So took it out the oven & put it on the worktop to cool. When we went back into the kitchen a fair proportion of the stuffing had gone & the rest was still under consumption by Roman, who had never helped himself before or since! Can't remember what the stuffing was other than a prepared M&S one!
Lexie very recently decided to stalk a pigeon that was on the ground under the bird feeder at the back of the garden by the fence & the arch of climbers. She got quite close, her bottom wiggled as she wound up for the pounce. She charged, pigeon took off, Lexie changed to leap forwards into the air, of course missed. She hit the fence in the classic spread-eagled cartoon cat pose with a resounding bang & slid down until she was almost suspended from the clematis branches (just as if she was in a hammock) before twistng round & working her way to the ground. No ill effects!
She also has no problem diving head first into bags, boxes etc. without any thought of whether she can get out. I've even caught her head first in the swing bin!! Although bring home part of an individual yorksire pudding & depositing it in our hall was an oddity, think it was from a neighbour's bird food!

I love these funny stories. The funniest thing I remember is that Misty, when the garden door was open, went behind it and used the cat flap. The surprise on her face when she landed on the terrace again instead of in the bedroom. (I told it before on the old forum)

I found this hysterical! I could just picture it. Cats make all their boo boos seems perfectly planned and orchestrated to perfection. The consumate performers! Interesting about the cat scratching the sides. We have the enclosed pooh trays and I've noticed that Georgia will scratch at the internal sides for what seems ages. All seems fairly normal according to some of the other posts.

Pets I own: Rosie a Maine Coon, Red and Cream.Aged 4 year in (May2014), a BIG quiet girl, and TiaMaria a Black Russian years on (Nov 2013) who is amazing fun.
Sadly Tia was killed in July 2014 by a car.
My son has Parkinsons and lives 2 miles from me. I got him RILEY a black stray 2year old in February 2014, but from a rescue 14 months ago.Very involved with him !
Pebbles age unknown, thrown out of a car, went to my daughter. Also involved with him ! ALL are adorable and so different.
Now (OCT 2014) have a kitten called Lilyana. She looks like her Mum, a Russian Blue. Her Dad is a Rag Doll. She was born on 24/07/2014....the day my darling Tia was killed on the road.
This was meant to be and she is helping me grieve for Tia. Lilyana is delightful.Rosie is now taking to her

I loved all your cat tales and antics. I always tell an elderly friend all about the ones my cats get up to. The last time I did that she said "Oh I do love it when you tell my about the cats ANTIQUES !!" It paints a great mental picture.

one of my funniest early memories of Laurie was when I was in the garden filling a seed tray with compost. I turned round to get the seed packet only to turn back to find him in the seed tray having a wee . I picked him up but he was still weeing...all over my shoes, everywhere. the look on his face was priceless he didnt know what to do with himself - I guess he couldnt understand why I had given him a litter tray and then told him he shouldnt use it
