I definitely asked this before, sorry. Anyone got any good cat chew ideas? Preferably not plastic. Is it okay for cats to chew wood? Or those antler things?
Carlotta has really bad teeth from her life of bad food and now and then chews on the handle to my trowel (wood) or the metal bike basket we have. I'd rather get her something safer to chew on. I have a finger bristly cloth thingy for brushing her remaining teeth and she's on a mostly raw diet now but I get the impression that she's a bit of a lost cause. If she has to lose all her teeth, it'll be fine, her raw food is basically a paste anyway as it's been cut so fine and we'd help her adapt. But that's off the point, is it safe for her to be chewing wooden things? And are those antler chews okay or are they too hard? And is there anything that a cat might naturally be inclined to chew? Other than my now jaggy and sore to use trowel that is. She loves that...

Thanks, that does look good, will see if I can get it over here. Not sure she'll be so into it though. When I was at work today I got one of those antler things for her to nibble, hopefully she'll use that instead of my stuff!

I bought Beau one of them after his op, it only lasted 3 days he started smelling something rotten, got rid, 3 days later he is not suffering from stinky farts LOL
